چکیده
The article analyzes the potential of using impulse oscillometry in diagnosis respiratory disorders children with oncological and hematological diseases after allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT). study was approved by Independent Ethics Committee Scientific Council Dmitry Rogachev National Medical Research Center Pediatric Hematology, Oncology Immunology Ministry Healthcare Russian Federation. A comparative analysis parameters spirometry before on Days 30, 90, 180 360 HSCT carried out. It revealed that pulmonary ventilation function impairments are quite common this group patients, worsening significantly month 3 follow-up. An increase reactance at a frequency 5 Hz is one earliest signs impaired function, which can be used for timely complications HSCT.

Factors affecting thymic function after allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation.
Hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) is followed by profound immunodeficiency. Thymic function is necessary for de novo generation of T cells after HSCT. Circulating CD45RA(+) naive T-cell levels are predictive of antigen-specific T-cell responses in the absence of graft-versus-host disease (GVHD). These T cells may not represent recent thymic emigrants, since naive T cells may mainta...

Word count: 218 words) Bronchiolitis obliterans (BO) following allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) affects peripheral airways. Detection of BO is presently delayed by the low sensitivity of spirometry. We examined the relationship between peripheral airway function and time since HSCT, and compared it with spirometry and clinical indices in 33 clinically stable allogeneic ...

A 32-year-old woman named A.C. was diagnosed five years ago with stage IIIB nodular sclerosing Hodgkin lymphoma (HL). Following initial chemotherapy, she had refractory disease as evidenced by hypermetabolic activity on positron-emission tomography (PET) scan. A.C. was treated with a short course of salvage chemotherapy, stem cell collection, and autologous HSCT about 11 months after initial di...

The introduction and evolution of hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) could be traced back to 1950s, to the studies on interactions among irradiation, covering spleen and bone marrow from it and injection of bone marrow cells. Today, HSCT is considered a well-established, effective and promising means of therapy for various malignant and non-malignant medical conditions, both in chil...

The aim of this study was to prospectively investigate the efficacy and safety of fully matched allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplants in children with severe aplastic anemia in China. A total of twenty patients with severe aplastic anemia were enrolled in our study. Thirteen cases underwent transplantation with fully human leukocyte antigen (HLA)-matched, granulocyte-colony stimulating...
